What is it?

For 4 intensive weeks, Delve into the intricacies of high-level machine learning techniques. This course is meticulously crafted for those who have basic knowledge of machine learning and are eager to explore advanced algorithms and methodologies. Through a combination of rigorous theory and practical application, you'll be equipped to tackle complex challenges and elevate your analytical prowess. If you're ready to take your machine learning knowledge to the next level, this course awaits you.

What are the course objectives?

• Equip learners with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.

• Foster hands-on experience with real-world data sets.

• Enable students to independently implement, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning models.

• Cultivate abilities to critically evaluate model performance, understand bias-variance trade-offs, and apply optimization techniques.

• Introduce the latest trends and research in advanced machine learning, ensuring students are abreast of current best practices.

Prerequisites

Students should come equipped with a basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. A proficiency in a programming language like Python, will be beneficial. Familiarity with data handling and visualization tools such as pandas or matplotlib is also recommended.

What is the course schedule?

The course spans 4 weeks with 4hrs of engaging content per week, including lectures, hands-on labs, and interactive sessions. Students will also have tasks and assignments during each week to which they need to assign a minimum of 10 hrs a week.

• Duration: 120 min per session

• Recurrence: x2 a week

• Dates: End of April 2024

• Days: Saturdays and Wednesdays

• Time: 19h - 21h (Algiers Time)
